The new ICE-Mini Intelligent Blocker from Santinelli International represents a significant enhancement to the company's product line. When combined with any of Santinelli International's LE-9000 series edgers, the ICE-Mini provides one of the best complete retail lens edging systems available in its category.
The ICE-Mini features a 3-pin oscillating lens stage with lens retaining clamp, which allows the operator to perfectly block the lens without any chance of lens movement, even with the most difficult slab-off lenses.
The unit's large 8.4" LCD, color, touch-screen facilitates easy operation. Traced outline and finished outline of the lens are simultaneously displayed in actual sized, which is very useful in determining if the external outline is sufficient for the traced outline.
The ICE-Mini can be directly connected to a lens edger as a minimum configuration. The traced data obtained with the built-in tracer of the LE-9000 edger are automatically stored into the ICE-Mini's internal memory.

ICE-9000 Automatic Blocker / Tracer
 The ICE-9000 is a revolutionary blocker and tracer combination that reads single vision and bifocal lenses, as well as printed and pre-identified laser marks on progressive lenses, increasing workflow and saving time. Compared to conventional blocking which requires operator involvement, the ICE-9000 blocking arm moves in both the X and Y direction automatically. The block-head also rotates (theta rotation) for blocking lenses on 180 degrees axis. The system's exceptionally accurate tracer digitizes an unprecedented 32,000 points of reference per eye.
Featuring an on-board ALM (Auto Lens Meter), the ICE-9000 enables lens blocking without having to mark and center lenses, simplifying the process and increasing accuracy. Therefore, the operator need only insert the lens and the ICE-9000 takes over, automatically blocking any lens with great precision. The high-resolution, color display touch screen can be used to enter job codes easily, reducing human error and resulting in precise blocking.
The ICE-9000 is a highly intuitive instrument which auto-aligns bifocals and progressives. ICE-9000 NT Automatic Blocker
The ICE-9000NT is a layout blocker system that automatically aligns single vision, multifocal and progressive lenses. The ICE-9000NT features a high resolution touch screen to enter job information such as job/tray number, PD, vertical decentration and, for single vision Rx's, the lens axis. The ICE-9000NT utilizes state-of-the-art technology to rotate the blocking head for precise location on the lens eliminating the risks of manual error.
The ICE-9000NT recognizes the multi-focal segment so that lenses can be easily blocked with precision and accuracy. The system also recognizes printed marks and enhanced laser marks, giving the operator options when blocking progressive lenses.
